Withdrawing into Isolation

Posted on June 29, 2010 at 9:13 PM

I am always trying to figure what it is that drives me to be the kind of person that I am. I do this in a search for self knowledge, understanding, and hopefully the peace and serenity that I desire.

'Is there something wrong with me?' I constantly ask and nag myself. 'Is this how I should behave?' 'Is this 'normal' behaviour?' On and on I doubt my...

Dietrich Bonhoeffer: 'Who am I?'

Posted on June 29, 2010 at 5:55 PM

Posted on June 23, 2010 at 5:24 PM

Dietrich is around four years old.  He is a pale ginger and white cat.   He is Ronald and Jaysen's cat.  He is supposed to be more Jaysen's cat, but what I see in the relationship between the three of them ... then he is more Ronald's cat.

Dietrich has spent most o...

A Word From John Newman

Posted on June 3, 2010 at 6:01 PM

' ... I am created to do something, or to be something for which no one else is created; I have a place in God's counsels, in God's world, which no one else has; whether I be rich or poor, despised or esteemed by others, God knows me and calls my name.

God has created me to do some definite service; He has committed some work to me which has not been committed to another.   I have my mission - I never may know it in th...
